Really? ONLY 30 days until I run my first 1/2 Marathon ever? Oh my.
At this point I've been sidelined with an injury. I've been doing my best to rehab it. It looks like bad shoes and a swollen bursa sac beneath my Sartorius muscle may be the culprit. The cause of that? possibly running down the left side of a slanting country road for all those kms.
I've got my new running belt for motivation and the treadmill and I are about to become best friends.
I'm also now better acquainted with my doctor, Chiropractor,Massage Therapist, Athletic Therapist, Reflexologist and Osteopath. Sigh..... Thank Goodness for Health coverage!!
Today I am headed to the gym to use the bike and tomorrow I will run on the treadmill with my new shoes.
I'm a little frustrated but I can't lose sight of my goal. I will walk that entire 21kms if I have to!!
