I manage a country homestead and the lives of my 4 babies ages 10,8,5 and 3. I LOVE TO RUN and NEED to keep healthy and fit for my SANITY!! Seriously....All problems are solved when I am running.

Making MY health a priority allows me to be the mother and wife that I need to be for them.

Crappy Feelings Need to Go Away

I'm tired and fat. Not a nice feeling. The baby is fussing more at night and I can't seem to stop eating treats. I actually think I've GAINED a little weight over the past week or so.

Lack of sleep + Poor Diet = Slowed down metabolism

Crap.

I am still trying not to think about it until the 6 week mark. Hard to do when I'm tired. I think I'm ready to start my Mommy and Me exercise video that was sent to me to review and blog about. It is gentle may be the kick I need to start taking care of myself again.

Personally I think the first couple of months after the baby are born are harder than the whole pregnancy time as far as taking care of myself. I was always tired, cranky and just wanted to eat constantly. Don't worry once you start getting more rest you'll be able to jump start that metabolism into weight loss. Keep in mind it took 9 months of baby carrying to get to this point. Now you have to readjust your body again! It'll work out just fine. You are young, healthy, and a wonderful mom!

You're not getting much sleep these days so it's hard to function well during the day. It'll get better - just take it one day at a time!
