Half Size me Podcast Interview

Heather from 'Half Size Me' conducted a Podcast Interview with me and it is up on her site. You can get to it HERE

Her weight loss story is inspirational and she is doing an amazing job at educating and inspiring other women to begin their own journey towards health.

I must warn you, the interview is long. I have a tendency to ramble and I get nervous when asked things on the spot. There is a reason I am a blogger and not Vlogger (videos).  When I write I can think and edit my thoughts lol  I just uploaded it and listened to it while picking up my living room and doing morning chores.

Anyway, feel free to check it out! Her site is pretty amazing as well. Lots of tips, recipes and encouragement.

Interview and Caffeine Free!!

Part Two of my interview with Annett Davis is up. Thank you Annett for editing my verbal diarrhea so well ;). You can find it by clicking on Fitmomsfitkidsclub.com. Today it is on the main page but it can also be found under the news heading and Fit Chat with Annett.

On another note....

I'm Day 2 of being COFFEE FREE!! I didn't think I could do it. I like my morning coffee and I was dreading the 4 day coffee withdrawal symptoms. I wanted to cut out the addiction as I prepare to train for the Half Marathon. I need to optimize my nutrition and limit dehydration. Getting off coffee will also stabilize my moods. Saying that coffee makes me nicer is just the addiction talking. I would be much nicer and less grumpy if I did not crave caffeine in the first place.

So far however I have yet to experience a headache. I'm a little more tired than usual in the afternoon but that will change in a few days.

Every morning I wake up and have hot water and lemon as the lemon helps to stimulate my digestive tract. Then I continue with my Good AM greens Shake as described on Shan larter's website.
At first drinking parsley, celery and lettuce made me gag, but after adding more lemon, ginger root and water I LOVE IT!!

I tried to post the video here but couldn't so you will just have to find it!!!

Go to www.fitmomsfitkidsclub.com It is under News and then Fit chat with Annett Davis. I think right now it is on the main section.

So there you have it!

Thanks Annett for interviewing me. It was a great experience.

Inspirational People

I just did an On-line interview with Annett Davis, an Olympian Beach Volleyball player and Christian Homeschooling mama. It was so weird. Weird because she reads MY BLOG. SHE is inspired by ME!!
(The interview will be posted to her site sometime in late November. I'll link up then.)

What I love about blogging is that here I can say anything I want. I can just be real and be me. This blog started off as a weight loss record when I was pregnant with my third child. Now I use it to share the Fit Mom part of me. This is my space to share a piece of me that I am passionate about. I do it for myself sometimes, and other times I do it to share with other moms how I do things and what works for me.

What I never expected to find was that MY STORY... MY personal journey and struggles would actually help someone else in THEIR journey. Speaking with Annett has given ME inspiration. It has given me a boost to continue my fitness walk in Mind, Body, and Spirit.

More than ANYTHING however, it has encouraged me to share my story and my struggles. It is VERY difficult to share with THE WORLD about a part of me that is so Dark that I sometimes don't want to face it. A part of me that I deal with on a daily basis. But it is me, and if sharing my Story inspires or gives encouragement to just ONE PERSON, than perhaps it is worth it.

So thank you Annett for giving me the courage to CONTINUE sharing my story. If anything, YOU have inspired me today.....and maybe .....Just MAYBE inspired me enough to start weight training...MAYBE ;)
