I manage a country homestead and the lives of my 4 babies ages 10,8,5 and 3. I LOVE TO RUN and NEED to keep healthy and fit for my SANITY!! Seriously....All problems are solved when I am running.

Making MY health a priority allows me to be the mother and wife that I need to be for them.

I'm a stupid runner

I ran 7km tonight. It was 2C/36F and POURING rain. My running partner and I were completely soaked through to our undies, but it felt fantastic.  Tonight I felt like I was floating...like I came alive again after a long day feeling grumpy.  I was pumped at the thought of pushing my limits with the marathon this spring, and the first words out of my mouth after the run were 'That was a AMAZING!!'. 
I then VERY quickly drove home to a hot shower before the hypothermia set in.  I still think it was a great run and seeing this button makes me want to run again.  lol

Isn't running in the rain fantastic. My friends always find me crazy when I go and start running outside the minute it starts raining..they just don't understand.
