25 weeks

25 weeks and 143pounds.
I'm o.k with that today.
23 pounds gained.
whatever.

I went to the midwife yesterday. so nice to hear the heartbeat. She is in there. Growing healthy and strong.
My belly is growing fast and she moves like crazy.

Such an amazing feeling that I don't want to end.

Today I am realizing that I only have 15 weeks to go.

I only have the months of June/July and August left.

That makes me sad.

I don't want it to end.

At least I don't wish this anyway any time soon.

I want to enjoy every moment of her being inside of me, knowing this will be be last time.

I want to enjoy the belly and the looks.

Just a little longer...at least for now.

Oh! Enjoy every moment. I STILL ache when I see pregnant women. Many friends are pregnant right now and I wish I were again.

Ahhh. don't worry about the weight thing. My 2nd pregnancy I only gained 15 pounds!!! I had gestational diabetes and had a very strict diet. And insulin shots in the last month. My baby girl was 9 lbs, 8 oz at birth. So basically, after her, placenta, etc. I basically lost all my pregnancy weight. Hate me, eh? Yeah, guess what, when I stopped nursing, I gained like 25 -30 pounds! And I was almost rid of that, when bang....baby #3 on the way. I am now 17 weeks, and I haven't gained any weight. (still follow the previous "diet", but you eat quite a bit...just no sugar.) But I would MUCH rather gain the weight NOW, then later. I will nurse this baby until she/he goes to school!

The nursing is a great point to mention. 'Cause, while having the baby in your belly is nice, remember how beautiful it is to be holding your baby and feeding her. If I only could do it over again, I would not wean until my little one lost interest. . .
