I manage a country homestead and the lives of my 4 babies ages 10,8,5 and 3. I LOVE TO RUN and NEED to keep healthy and fit for my SANITY!! Seriously....All problems are solved when I am running.

Making MY health a priority allows me to be the mother and wife that I need to be for them.

On the Menu Tonight.

Tonights supper....

I 'cooked' for the first time in two weeks. It was hot and sticky and I kind of regret it. We had...

Noodles with my home made cheese sauce
steamed organic local brocolli ( oh wow it was A 1000X better than the grocery store)
and our own ground beef fried up as is. No extra oil.

Simple, fast and good for us. Now if only I had a pasta maker...that would be AMAZING!!!! I bet I could get one of those mount on the counter ones. Pasta is just egg and flour no?

Pasta Dough Recipe

2 1/4 CUPS flour
1 TBSP olive oil
1 TSP salt
2 LG eggs
1/4 CUP Water

In a large mixing bowl Stir flour with oil, salt, and eggs, add water to make a stiff dough, knead 20 times, cover dough with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 min.
