I manage a country homestead and the lives of my 4 babies ages 10,8,5 and 3. I LOVE TO RUN and NEED to keep healthy and fit for my SANITY!! Seriously....All problems are solved when I am running.

Making MY health a priority allows me to be the mother and wife that I need to be for them.

Yay for Walmart???

My belly hurts. I have a sore spot right by my belly button, and every time I carry Mr.Man, it hurts. That combined with the baby moving all over the place, and her squishing my intestines....I'm sore.

I'm going to head to the YMCA today and try to elliptical. I need my exercise, and the elliptical allows me to move with minimal belly movement.

Man...I'm going to have to start swimming aren't I??
Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE to swim?? laps that is? I find it so boring. float and play in the pool yes. Laps no.

Oh well.

It's all worth it I suppose.

I went to Walmart the other day and found some bathing suit shorts by Ocean Pacific. (side note: I felt like it was 1985 again)....They are wonderful! Not the tight boy shorts, and not a skirt! They are night and loose around the legs to hide my fabulous cellulite and spider veins, but short enough that they look kinda nice!

Yay for Walmart....wow that is a rare statement from me.

Anyway....point is, I'm ready for the pool for whenever I MUST jump in.

Hint for non-boring swimming: It can be kinda like meditation, like after yoga. Concentrate on the feeling of weightlessness, the rhythm of your breathing, the feel of the water over your skin. Also take pleasure in the strength of your arms and legs propelling you thru the water. . . . Yes - very zen, I find. . . .
BTW, thanks for mentioning the shorts that you found at W.M. I have been looking for some new comfy board shorts. ..
