I manage a country homestead and the lives of my 4 babies ages 10,8,5 and 3. I LOVE TO RUN and NEED to keep healthy and fit for my SANITY!! Seriously....All problems are solved when I am running.

Making MY health a priority allows me to be the mother and wife that I need to be for them.

Painful Run

O.K I am done being grumpy.
I took Lara to her horse riding lessons yesterday and decided to head out for a run while waiting for her.
It was interesting.
3 weeks off was certainly noticeable and not without interesting changes....painfly, sluggish ones.

A million things went through my mind, but all in all it was a good run. A good 8km run.

HOWEVER.... my KNEE hurts today.

So..seriously...what do I do? Do I push through it, and be in pain for the next 3 months knowing I'm going to most likely damage my knee?

I think I'm going to just continue running and see what happens. If I can't do it, I can't do it.

Alyson, don't push through knee pain! I think that you want to do this marathon so bad, but seriously my dear do anything but don't hurt your knee.

You need those knees to do so much more than run! I am sorry your knee is bothering you. Can you go for active release therapy somewhere?! Try new shoes? You have tried resting?

Do you need to see a specialist?!
